24th and so much more...

Gabby on the 24th with a clown wig. Cutest clown!

The 24th of July was very calm. We took our children to eat and then headed over to Ben's parents' place to hang out. We did a couple fire works and also watched the brothers play horse shoes in the dark. Cash and Gabby both dug the fireworks. Then Saturday Ben and I had the opportunity to have a night with ourselves. It was rather nice to have a moment without the kiddies. I even got to to sleep in till 9 am. I was so excited. So all and all it was a nice holiday. No drama! A first in a while for me.

Well Sunday evening I did the most unspeakable thing in the world. Now everyone just chill for moment and listen to me. I cut Cash's hair off. Only for one reason. He has eczema at the bottom of his ear. And the last few days I have been watching him and I believe that his ear has gotten so sore and oozy because of his long hair hanging and bugging his ear. So I cut it to see if it would get better. So I know, the curls and so forth but, I hope it helps. And plus, it is so HOT here that it might be good and refreshing for him. He is so handsome with or without hair.
Also, today we started swim lessons for the Fish Man! He was crazy as always. The teacher asked me to get in with him to help because he likes to just go after her and drops to the bottom. He is so not afraid of the water. He did well though.

As for my mom, we went today to get her drains out. They only took one. She did not do well today. We think it is due to her blood pressure being so low. I am hoping and praying that because of her blood pressure and her low white blood cell count will be enough for her not to do the chemo treatments. Crossing my fingers for only radiation. We will find out tomorrow. Gabby is still crazy as ever and she is more brave at her climbing and mischievous ways.
Cash @ swim lessons. Kept trying to follow the teacher.

Also, Cash's birhday is next week. It will be fun to see how all the parties turn out. He is going to be 3 years old. He is getting so big.

Smiles and more sad news...

Gabby and the hot swim goggles!

Okay, so I haven't blogged in a while. It is due to the fact our lovely computer has been broken. Thanks to my husband and he thinking that he is a fix it man. NOT! I am just glad I have my computer back. Don't realize how important it is until it is gone.

So besides that my kids and I have had the opportunity to go and stay overnight a couple nights and take care of grandma. Let me tell you it was harder than hell. Because not only did I take care of her but my kids and my two dogs were there. We had fun though. The pictures I took were priceless. We haven't done a whole lot but some how we are busy. A lot of it is going to grandma's and taking care of her. Cash is starting swim lessons on Monday. I am so stoked because we haven't been able to find someone who would take him because he is not 3 yet. And my son is desperately needing swim lessons. CharChar is still hobbling around with her casted leg. She tries hard to find a comfortable position but it doesn't happen. And if she does Gabby goes and jumps on her. Gabby is now walking and for some reason has turned into a crazy woman. More so now than ever before. She thinks just because she walks that she knows how to climb. Not funny at all. My mom hates it that we call her the little demon baby. But holly smokes you would all probably agree. We love her to death but compared to Cash she is OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!

All is good but I have some really sad and scary news, my mom just got diagnosed with cancer again. Last night we found out the spot in the PET SCAN was cancer. Don't know what the plan is now cause she hasn't seen her oncologist. So all of us are in devastation mode. I will tell you one thing that's for sure, for some reason our family has had more than its share of "SHIT" handy to us. But we are still here and trucking and pushing to find a breath of fresh air. But I guess it is not in the cards right now.

S.LC. up to the 4th!

Okay, let me start with the kids and I went up to S.L.C. because my sister had her son Talmage Jeff Dockstader and we were going up to see her and take care of her two little girls. So we get there and Talmage has to be NICU for 10-14 days due to his lungs being undeveloped. We could see him and so forth but no touching. So most of my time up there was taking the kids and entertaining them. It was a really long few days but very fun.

Cash & Gabby traveling. Nataly, Gabby, Squid, and Cash having a good time bathing.

So one of the days we took the kids and my Aunt Lorna brought her grand kids and we went to Jungle Jim's. What a adventure. It was so funny because Cash did not like the rides that spun and went fast. He liked the jeep ride that was like a train ride. He even cried and screamed on the carousel. On the other hand, my daughter, loved the rides. Oh, she was funny as can be. She loved it. It is funny how much kids can be different. They had an awesome time.

Riding the jet ride at Jungle Jim's.

Favorite ride at Jungle Jim's. Safari Ride.

Spinney ride. Yuck!

Another day, I took my kids and we went to my friend Ashley's house to have lunch and visit her for awhile. It was fun because her daughter is almost 2 months younger than Gabby and she is near 3 or 4 pounds bigger than Gabby. And was walking really well. I was so glad to see her. I miss her so much. Afterwards, my mom and I went to IKEA and we all know what that is like. It is funny how you are in there at least 2 hours. Not so fun with kids that are really tired.Gabby and Karmindy (Ashley's daughter) just chilling.

On that Saturday, my sister, Whitney, and I took the kids to the zoo. It was rather interesting that it only took us 1.5 hrs. to do the whole zoo. It was fun as always and of course the best part was the "Choo-Choo" and the kids had a good time. That night I took my little sister out and we met up with my friend Jessica and my Aunt Karen. It was so nice to get out and we danced and laughed and so forth. IT WAS AWESOME!Cash, Squid, and Nataly looking at fox.

Kids at the Madagascar exhibit waterfall.

I just got news today that my nephew got to go home today. YEA! If you want to see him, link to my sister's blog.
Now for the 4th, well what can I say. We didn't do anything. We watched the History Channel all day and that afternoon went Ben's parents place to have a bbq and do fireworks. Well, my dog Charlotte, loves fireworks. She chases them and carries them in her mouth as the are still going. So when it was time for the fireworks we went to go get them in the backyard and found CharChar limping and her leg dangling the wrong way. So Ben and I took her to the emergency vet and we spent 3 hrs. there. So needless to say we didn't see fireworks or had a chance to spend it with our children. The kids stayed with grandma and grandpa so they got to see the fireworks. It sucks cause I didn't get pictures or anything fun. Hey, I guess that is our luck. So now our CharChar is in a cast for 6-8 weeks. And it has cost us a butt load of money. Man, vets are rip-offs.
But it has been good and crazy here. Still doing grandma and so forth. But we are still here alive and kicking. And I am glad to say Gabby is WALKING! YEA GABBY!
